DESIGN DAY: FOR THE PROJECT THAT JUST NEEDS A PUSH

WINE COUNTRY INTERIOR DESIGN HELP, IN PERSON, IN A SINGLE DAY

The decisions piling up on your counter (right next to the tile samples you've been staring at for three weeks) aren't going to make themselves.

STILL STARING AT THOSE TILE SAMPLES?

This is your full day of design help, in your actual kitchen, with your actual samples, solving your actual problem. Five focused hours where someone who's seen a hundred kitchens and bathrooms sits down with yours and helps you finally land the decisions keeping you stuck.

DESIGN DAY: A DAY WELL-SPENT

THE FASTEST WAY TO GET YOUR RENOVATION MOVING AGAIN

A Project In Motion Again

No more lying awake wondering if you picked the right tile. No more screenshot folders with forty conflicting options. You leave the day knowing what you're doing and feeling good about it.

Materials Chosen With Confidence, Not Crossed Fingers

There's a big difference between a sample on your counter and a full slab in a showroom. Where it makes sense, we go together, so you say yes to things you've actually seen in person.

A Recap Your Contractor Will Thank You For

After the day, you'll get a PDF with every product linked, every decision documented, and every next step written out. The kind of thing you forward to your contractor and never have to explain twice.

IS THIS YOU?

DESIGN DAY IS FOR THE HOMEOWNER ALREADY IN IT, NOT STARTING FROM ZERO

Design Day is a great fit if you:

  • Your renovation is underway but every time you have to make a decision, you freeze

  • Your contractor has been waiting on an answer for longer than you'd like to admit

  • You have seventeen tile options saved and somehow feel further from a decision than when you started

  • You want a real person in the room with real materials, not another Pinterest rabbit hole

  • You're not ready for a full-service commitment but you desperately need some expert direction

  • You've been staring at the same two countertop options for three weeks and they've stopped making sense

If you're starting from scratch on a full kitchen or home renovation, our Full Service Design package is a better fit. Not sure which one you need? Book a 30-minute consult, and we’ll figure it out together.

How Your Design Day Unfolds

NOT YOUR AVERAGE WINE COUNTRY INTERIOR DESIGNER

Kitchen sink

You need a designer who starts with your life, not her portfolio.

Interior design Paso Robles clients and Central Coast homeowners alike get the same thing: a designer who asks the right questions. Before we talk about finishes, I want to know how your family uses the space. Whether two people cook at the same time. Whether your bathroom remodel needs to hold up to three kids or just one very particular adult. The design decisions come from those answers. Which is why every Design Day looks totally different.

Custom Kitchen Cabinetry

Most designers can tell you what looks good…

Fewer can tell you why your cabinet depth is going to affect your countertop overhang, or why the door style you love is going to date itself in eight years. Design Day includes the kind of interior design tips that come from years on the construction side before ever touching design software.

A Designer Who Makes Every Step Feel Simple

“I recently worked with Taylor to design 5 rooms for a new build. She captured what I was looking for in a way that considered both trends and a timeless look. Her design blueprint makes everything so easy as she links out every product. She is overall just a lovely person to deal with. Thank you Taylor!”

Frequently Asked Questions

  • At your home. I come to you, which means I get to see your actual space, your actual light, and the tile samples that have been living on your counter. For showroom visits, we head out together from there.

  • Not much. Fill out the pre-session questionnaire when you book and that covers most of it. If you have inspiration images, existing plans, or samples you've already pulled, have them out. The more context I walk in with, the more we get done.

  • Countertops coordinating with cabinet colors, and tile combinations for bathroom remodels. Those two things account for most of the decision paralysis I walk into. If that's you, you're in exactly the right place.

  • A PDF presentation with clickable product links, notes from everything we covered, and your next steps organized clearly. The kind of document you forward to your contractor once and never have to explain twice.

  • Absolutely. Some projects are bigger than five hours and that's completely fine. We cover as much as we can on day one and pick up from there on day two.

  • If you're planning a full kitchen or bathroom renovation from the ground up and need a complete design package, Full Service Design is the better fit. Not sure which one you need? The 30-minute Zoom consult will get you there faster than another afternoon of Googling.

  • The post-session PDF includes clickable links to everything we discussed, so you can move forward on sourcing right away. If you need more hands-on help beyond that, reach out and we'll figure out what makes sense.

  • Honestly, yes. One stuck decision can hold an entire renovation hostage for weeks. If it's the thing keeping your contractor from starting, five hours to resolve it is a very efficient use of a Thursday afternoon.

  • Spots fill up, so the sooner the better. If you have a contractor waiting on you, that's usually a good sign it's time to reach out now rather than next month.

  • That's what the session is for. We work through options together in real time, which means you're not receiving a design and reacting to it cold. You're part of every decision as we make it. By the time I leave, you'll know it's right.

  • Design Day is available locally on California's Central Coast and surrounding areas. If you're outside the area, my 30-minute consultation is available virtually, nationwide. Not sure which service fits your situation? Let's figure it out together.

READY TO START MAKING PROGRESS AGAIN?

THE HOME YOU'VE BEEN PICTURING IS ONE GOOD DAY AWAY

Design Day spots are limited each month because every session gets my full, undivided attention. If your kitchen remodel or bathroom project has been stalling on the same three decisions, this is a wildly efficient way to get unstuck.
