San Luis Obispo Kitchen and Baths
Full Service Design
The kitchen was small, outdated, and surrounded by space that wasn't being used. The bathrooms were functional but dingy, the kind of spaces you move through quickly and try not to look at too closely.
The secret to the kitchen was right behind it: an unused laundry room that, once absorbed into the footprint, made room for an island the original layout never could have fit. Both bathrooms were reconfigured for better flow and finished with materials that actually belong in the rest of the house. And then there's the yellow hutch, which is precisely as good as it sounds. Stunning.
